Here at Content Callout, we spend a lot of time telling you a variety of tips and tricks to make your content marketing and social media stand out. But we thought we’d take a second to introduce some of the team behind-the-scenes who keep everything running.
First up is our Operations Manager, Kayla Graham! Kayla is the glue that keeps us all together. She runs and manages our teams, coordinates and manages a variety of projects with our clients, and basically juggles all the balls.
Guilty pleasure—books, music, etc.
90s dance music, coming of age teen movies and shows like the UK version of Skins.
Who inspires you?
Irvine Welsh, Ru Paul, Bob Marley’s biographer Timothy White, Canadian authors Heather O Neil and Miriam Toews, Chole Sevigny, and 100 women in music.
What’s your favorite movie?
Too many to choose. Off the top of my head Donnie Darko, Trainspotting, Kids – for some feel-good movies, I would choose Silver Linings Playbook or About Time.
What’s your favorite local pub?
Ship and Anchor all day.
What’s your favorite travel destination?
Don’t know if it’s my fave, but biggest repeat destination is London, England. I’ve been 7 times.
What’s your favorite local coffee shop?
I Love You Coffee Shop and Vinyl + coffee. I also like Baya Rica in Bridgeland.
What’s your favorite retail shop?
I like to look around in Steeling Home. And any wine shops—they’re always nice.
Favorite creative account on Instagram?
Hmmm… I would have to dig for this. The Pantone account is good. Jesuso Ortiz makes cute cartoons with fruit and flowers and real elements. F7, aka Yohito Hasaka, makes beautiful, otherworldly landscapes of Toyko.
Any other local shout-outs you want to give?
It would be amiss not to mention some great micro-breweries! Shoutout Cold Garden, Citizen, Dandy, Last Best, Revival Brewcade.
We’ll be doing a bunch of staff features this month. We’re looking forward to everyone getting to know the Content Callout team more!
